Alternate Transportation Information


     Courtesy shuttle transportation is available to your desired destination within the Stamford area.  Return transportation is also available when services to your vehicle are completed.  The shuttle will make its final courtesy round at 5pm.  Since checking in for your appointment will take a few moments, we highly recommend that you plan on arriving 20 minutes in advance of the Shuttle Departure time you'd prefer.  Please inform your Service Advisor if you need our Shuttle to pick you up in the afternoon when you schedule your appointment.

Low Cost Rental Cars

Riverbank customers are entitled to a discounted rental rate from Hertz Rental Car located at 465 West Main Street Stamford (203) 406-0203.  This is not a free rental. Hertz rental requirements are as follows: must be 25 years old, have a Valid Driver's License, and a Valid Major Credit Card.

 


Complimentary Service Loaner Cars to Qualified Customers Still Under VW New Vehicle Limited Warranty


    
In order to qualify, all of the following requirements must be satisfied:

·         Vehicle must require a warranty repair that is covered by the basic factory warranty and

·         Warranty repairs require an overnight stay due to vehicle being disabled (if vehicle can be picked up and brought back the next day to complete repairs, a loaner is not provided).

·         Customer must be 21 years of age.
·         Customer has a valid driver's license.

·         Customer has verifiable insurance that will cover the loaner vehicle.

 

(Note: Service personnel are required to verify insurance coverage by contacting your insurance company before loaning a vehicle.  This verification should be arranged in advance. Our service personnel may not be able to verify your insurance coverage late in the day or on Saturday.)


Service Loaner vehicles are not provided for factory powertrain warranty repairs after the Bumper-to-Bumper Limited factory warranty has expired.
  Service Loaners are not provided at no cost for customer pay repairs or maintenance, unless included in a service coupon special.
