I just had service on my 08' Passat at Riverbank VW for the very first time. With the reviews I saw on this site, I was a bit leery. From start to finish I was treated well. They performed the work on the car that was needed. They told me what I need to have fixed/replaced in the future (no high pressure selling tactics) and called me when the vehicle was ready for pick up. The Courtesy Shuttle dropped me off at work in the AM, and picked me up in the afternoon from the office to go back to Riverbank to pick up my car. My daughter had been at two other VW dealers for an oil burning problem. I can't tell you the aggrivation we had with them all. It's like they are trained to ignore your problem. She went to Riverbank on a recomendation of a co-worker at her new job in Stamford. They said they would monitor it for us at each oil change. Wow, somebody actualy is going to do something. They checked it and confirmed it was using over a quart every 1000 miles. They recomended a 30000 mile service and fixed somethings on the motor at no charge and the problem is gone. We can't say enough about the professional treatment we received. I am buying my next car from them when my lease is up. - A. Your service on the car has been extraordinary, especially the work of Erric Moretti. He is pleasant and very professional. If I need a ride home or pick up in Riverbank, he always can hadle it. Best of all, I get an estimate on repair work when I come in. It never exceeds the estimate and sometimes is lower.

My experience with Riverbank VW has not only been quite excellent for me since buying my VW Passat from you in 2000, but has impressed other friends who are VW owners. A few weeks ago, my engine light came on upon my return from vacation. Diagnosis from Riverbank mechanics signified serious problems with the valve lifter mechanism, necessitating complete engine replacement. Fortunately, as you informed, I was still a couple months within the generous 10 year warranty, and with proper service history and records, my truly beloved 2000 Passat 4Motion could be restored as under such warranty. I remain immensely grateful for that coverage, for your professional guidance, and for the cool and precise way you kept me informed regularly through the short period it took to replace the engine. It is working fine, and I thank you again, and will continue to recommend Riverbank to friends and colleagues.
I love my 2008 Passat wagon and the Hankook snow tires your guys at the shop recently mounted and balanced. Rest assured Hankook’s are great snow tires!
In newly fallen snow and packed ice, these tires get traction and get me where I want to go. My faith in this car has been restored.

This morning my husband drove my 2004 Jetta down to Riverbank Volkswagen after experiencing a problem with my keyless entry controller. He arrived early and you were kind enough to take him as soon as the Service Department opened. It was fixed in no time at all and he even got a free car wash!
I just want to say how much we appreciate your excellent service. Although my car is going on four years old now (and I've had a VW, one kind or another for 46 years,) we would not think of bringing it anywhere else or driving anything but a VW. Riverbank has been very good to us.
What a joy to drive my car without hearing that worrisome noise and envisioning a complete breakdown momentarily! I'm so glad that I followed up on my disappointment after Monday's session when the problem went undiscovered, due to faulty information being given to the mechanics.
